Asia-Pacific's First Marriott Hotel,
Admiralty Landmark for 35 Years
JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong 於 1989 年 2 月 27 日正式開業，是萬豪國際集團在亞太區開設的第一間酒店，見證了香港作為國際金融中心崛起的整個時代。酒店坐落於太古廣場（Pacific Place）綜合發展項目之中，直接連接金鍾地鐵站，地處中環商業核心地帶。 JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong opened on 27 February 1989 as the first Marriott International hotel in the Asia-Pacific region, witnessing Hong Kong's entire rise as an international financial centre. The hotel is situated within the Pacific Place mixed-use development, directly connected to Admiralty MTR station in the heart of Central's commercial district.
太古廣場由恒隆地產（80%）及太古地產（20%）共同發展，由建築師 Wong & Ouyang 設計，以四座主要大廈配合弧形商場脊柱組成，成為香港現代建築的重要地標。 Pacific Place was jointly developed by Hang Lung Properties (80%) and Swire Properties (20%), designed by architects Wong & Ouyang. Its four principal towers arranged around a curved mall spine have become a landmark of modern Hong Kong architecture.
2008 至 2019 年間，酒店委託 MOK Design 對多個空間進行翻新，包括 The Lounge、JW Café 及宴會廳，以現代奢華語言重新詮釋這座三十五年歷史建築的內在氣質。 Between 2008 and 2019, the hotel commissioned MOK Design to renovate multiple spaces — including The Lounge, JW Café and the ballroom — reinterpreting this 35-year-old building's character through a contemporary luxury vocabulary.
